We usually never dine out on Northlake Blvd., but I’m glad we did Saturday night. We originally we’re going to try the Brass Ring — supposedly the best hamburger joint ever! I was completely overdressed for the occasion so we ditched that idea and ended up at Nona Maria’s.
What a gem this place is! It is the best kept secret in North Palm Beach. It is small, cozy and best of all not crowded on a Saturday night. Priced very reasonably, we had a full scale dinner including a glass of wine and dessert. All for $90 bucks. We loved it.
Joe and I both had a salad. He had the Mozzarella Caprese´ and I had a Walnut Endive Salad. Both were very tasty and yummy. For the main dish Joe had the barbecued ribs that were very tender and oh so good. I had the Rigatoni Carbonera. A spin off of my favorite Fettuccine Carbonara. It was just the right portion of food, was creamy and delicious.
We shared a Profiterole for dessert. Vanilla ice cream sandwiched in a puff pastry with chocolate sauce…excellent!
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
