The Square Grouper – The Best Watering Hole In Jupiter

I came across this video on YouTube.  The Square Grouper is one of the most popular places in Jupiter for people of all drinking ages.  It has caught the attention of a few high profile celebrities.  Alan Jackson has been known to give surprise concerts on occasion, he’s even recorded a video there.  Kid Rock has also been known to frequent the bar as well.  What makes this place so popular?  Alcohol helps, but the view from here is the best in the area.  Sit down, have a beer and enjoy the view of the Jupiter Inlet and drift away.  You wont want to leave.  It doesn’t get any better than this!

Turtlefest 2009 in Juno Beach

Turtlefest 2009

Turtlefest 2009

The 7th Annual Turtlefest is here Saturday, April 25th at Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach.  Admission is free, but there is a $5.00 fee for some children’s activities.  This is a great way to support the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.  They work year round protecting and caring for the sea turtles and educating the community about these fascinating creatures that visit our beaches each year to hatch their eggs.  Did you know that in turtle season, the center gives walking tours on the beach to search for turtles coming on shore to hatch their eggs?  It is one event every child needs to experience.  Entertainment will includes two music stages, education presentations, bounce house, dunk tank, arts and crafts, food and more.  Visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center website for more information on entertainment and parking.

Artfest by the Sea in Juno Beach This Weekend

21st Annual Artfest by the Sea

Where: A1A Between Donald Ross Rd. and Marcinski in Jupiter/Juno Beach

When: Saturday & Sunday March 14-15, 2009

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The 21st Annual Artfest by the Sea is here once again.  Located in Juno Beach, this is one of the better artfests because of it’s great location along the ocean on A1A.  As residents of Juno Beach, it has become a family tradition for us.  There’s so much to see from handmade jewelry, contemporary art, paintings and other handmade crafts.
